A Few Maneuvers...Here's where the fun begins!!!

I've been working on a 3D Star Destroyer/Imperial Cruiser Play Mat. I've obviously had to scale it down to fit on a table. The ship is about 75.5" x 47" (scale 517m x 322m). Plans are done and will be posted shortly after the upload file is approved.

Looks pretty damn cool so far. Are you going to paint it up and add some bits to it for texture? Very ambitious

It actually isn't too far off (especially for something so large) from 1/270 scale, at ~192cm, a Victory Class ISD would be in 1:469 scale.

Can't wait to see how this one progresses!

..and I haven't seen an overhead projector in ages !!!

Some more pictures of the build. I expect that I will paint it as well to give the look of the sloping surfaces even though they are flat. Stay tuned!

Wow, that is amazing!

It makes me eager for the A-Wing mini and an Arvel Crynyd (http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Arvel_Crynyd) pilot card, to crash his ship into this thing!

Arvel Crynyd Pilot Ability: If this ship leaves the board on the opponent's edge, you win.

All cutting is complete. I want to replace the two spheres and I need to add guns. Then comes painting. The big storm may get in the way.

I posted the final pictures above. Painting wound up being the toughest part.
